Care and Maintenance
To ensure your dakimakura cover stays as vibrant and soft as the day you got it, proper care is key! We recommend hand washing your cover in cold water with a mild detergent. Steer clear of bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the fabric. After washing, let your cover air dry in the shade to maintain its quality and color.
Some of our customers have had great success using specialty detergents like FOREVER NEW to help preserve the colors and fabric elasticity, but we suggest testing these detergents cautiously for the first time. With a little TLC, your cover will stay beautiful for years to come!
If you prefer machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Place the cover inside-out in a laundry delicates bag to protect your design! Air dry for the best results.
